Circuit Layouts

Circuit layouts can be constructed using Scalextric Sport Track sections.   Each piece has two lanes (grooves) and up to 8 lanes in total can be achieved in a track layout.

Sport Track can be connected to Scalextric 'Classic' track using SXC8222 Converter Straight.  This provides Classic connectors on one end and Sport connectors on the other.

Corners

There are four different radius corner types; R1 providing the sharpest bend, opening out to the straighter R4.  When used for two lane layouts these provide four degrees of sharpness.

Sections can be placed up to 4 pieces wide giving a total of 8 lanes.  In this situation R4 pieces would provide the outer most two lanes and R1 would provide the inner most two lanes.

Likewise four lanes can be achieved by using two of the radius options available.
