This battle was an engagement of the Italian Wars and marks the significance of the use of firearms for domination of the battlefield. This diorama of the battle includes two original but composed German armours for man and horse, similar to the type worn by the French gendarmes, as well as replicas of the equipment of the Imperialist infantry who defeated them in 1525.
