The P-51 was the first fighter which possessed the range to escort heavy bombers all the way to and from daylight raids over the German cities, a crucial development for WWII in Europe. Polish fighter ace Horbaczewski took command of Polish No. 315 Squadron flying the new Mustang MkIII in February 1944. Includes display stand and specially designed display box.
