The working class hero of its day, the SRi 130 had a 0-60 time of 8.2 secs and a top speed of 117mph, for £9999! A close ratio gearbox ensured the 130BHP was useable, stiffened suspension and larger 195/60-14 tyres kept the whole thing on the black stuff. The SRi130 was only produced for two years before the Cavalier Mk111 was announced in 1988.
