Invented by Fred Warner, master DFD mechanic in the 30’s, this device enables one man to shut down a fully charged hose, a necessary action while setting up and charging lines to fight a fire. Other accoutrements on this piece are a Cooper Hose Jacket used to plug hose leaks and a Bresnan Cellar Nozzle better known as a Whirligig and perfect for basement fires.
