These eyecatching Trident Double Deckers were launched on 7th February 2005 and were fully operational on First’s Torpoint service 80/81 in March 2005. The vehicles were the result of a successful Urban Bus Challenge bid submitted by Plymouth City Council, supported by Cornwall County Council and were jointly funded by the Department for Transport and FirstGroup plc.
