This National Express liveried Scania PB Irizar coach was one of 14 coaches purchased by National Express to operate on a newly created 420 NXL Shuttle service between Birmingham and London. These distinctive 'wow' coaches, were among the first of their type to be introduced to the UK, and have helped to create a stylish new look to the NEL fleet. This coach, which is based at National Express's Sipson Rd depot near Heathrow is fitted with 49 reclining grey leather seats, all of which offer three point seatbelts. It also has a rear toilet / washroom fitted. This coach also features an internal digital destination display unit that was specially fitted to allow it to be used on scheduled coach services.
