This Dennis Plaxton Pointer SLF Dart was one of 15 delivered to Brighton Blue Buses in May 1996, the first low floor buses in Brighton. Originally painted in a special 49 livery, in June 1997 Go-Ahead purchased Brighton Blue Bus and incorporated it with Brighton & Hove buses. 204 was repainted in Metro Line 49 livery of dark blue and cream in August 1997, and in February it was repainted red and cream for use on other services.
