This is one of 66 Optare ‘Solo’ 34-seat single decks operated by the independent trent barton company, known for its highprofile branding and one of the most modern major bus fleets in the UK. This example bears the corporate trent barton livery designed by Ray Stenning of ‘Best Impressions’ and first launched in 2003. SoLos are the mainstay of a number of routes in the trent barton portfolio across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Examples are to be found at each of the company’s major depots in Nottingham, Derby, Langley Mill and Sutton-in Ashfield. SoLos in the company’s corporate livery work a number of local routes around Heanor, Ilkeston, Ripley, Alfreton and Mansfield. They can also be seen deputising on the colourful range of branded trent barton routes if a resident bus is unavailable. 50% of the models produced will carry destination 1A Ripley and 50% will carry destination 92 Derby. - No 92 Destination, Derby
