Corgi Classics - Original Omnibus Company |
The model represents one of three double decker buses purchased by Cumbria County Council from East Lancs using Rural Bus Challenge. The buses operate on the prestigious hourly X35 service between Barrow-in-Furness and Kendal via Grange-over-Sands. The buses entered service on 1st March 2006 and feature high specification seating with a moquette that reflects that this scenic route runs ‘between the mountains and the sea’. The service is operated by Stagecoach North West under contract to the County Council and the buses carry that company’s legal lettering and are numbered 18278-80 in that company’s scheme.
