Bus 10041 is a Volvo B7BLA Articulated Bus with a 55 seat Wright Eclipse Fusion body. This was one of a batch of 12 delivered new to Bradford during 2000. The decision was taken to transfer nine of these vehicles to York in early 2003 to provide much needed capacity on the city’s already successful Park & Ride services, and were repainted in the attractive Park & Ride livery soon after the transfer. They were subsequently allocated their unique five digit First group fleet number. First in York was voted Public Transport Operator of the Year for 2005. 50% of the models produced will carry the destination Grimston Bar 8 and 50% will carry the destination Askham Bar 3. - No 3 Destination, Askham Bar
