Corgi Classics - Original Omnibus Company |
Blazefield took over the East Lancashire operations of Stagecoach in 2001, immediately reintroducing the local identity of Burnley & Pendle. The X43 is a long established route linking Manchester with Burnley, Colne and Nelson. Blazefield introduced a fleet of high-quality twin-deck vehicles in 2005, which feature leather seats throughout. At the same time the route was given a new identity under the ‘Witch Way’ brand. Each vehicle is named after the so called Pendle Witches who were convicted of witchcraft in the 17th Century. Destination 1 - Manchester via Rawtenstall X43. Destination 2 - Nelson via Burnley X43.
