Exeter City Transport bought five batches of Leyland PD2A buses between April 1961 and October 1965. The vehicle modelled is fleet number 83, registration 483 EFG which was new in May 1962. It is shown on the 22 mile long country route from Exmouth to Crediton via Woodbury and Exeter. Although our model has an Orion body the bus represented had bodywork by Massey.
