Mr William Baybutt started the Company in 1932 with a 2 ton Bedford lorry, mainly working between the docks at Liverpool and Yorkshire. The Company is now owned by his sons Albert and Bill, and ably managed by Barry Evans. Based in Burscough, Lancashire, Baybutt Transport runs a fleet of ten DAF units and around 22 trailers and has around 150,000 sq. ft. of warehousing. The Company works on general haulage including timber and packaging products throughout mainland Britain.
