Howe & Sons Ltd is a family run brick/concrete products haulier based at Waddington, Lincoln and is run by Nick Howe. Albert Howe (Nick’s grandfather) gave his name to the business which he set up just after World War II. However, Albert’s father, Zechariah laid the roots of the Howe links to haulage when he set up a fruit & veg and carting business in Lincoln in 1906. One part of the Howe dynasty is still involved in the fruit and veg trade, although the haulage interests concentrated on brick transport at an early stage. Lincoln Brick was in brick manufacture until 1975 and Howe was one of the earliest dedicated hauliers. Dennis Howe (Nick’s father) introduced the Company’s first craneequipped truck in 1978, when a long term allegiance to Bedford was slowly being moved to Volvo. However, since 1997 the Howe truck preference has been towards Mercedes Benz. View other product and find out more about Corgi Classics.
