S.J. Bargh Ltd began life in April 1935 when a local man, Sam Bargh, started to buy milk from local farmers and sell it on to Libby McNeil & Co. at Milnthorpe. As the Libby business grew so did the need for transporting finished products. Being well placed to offer an outbound service, Sam Bargh saw this opportunity to move into general haulage. S.J. Bargh Ltd was registered on 20th April 1954 and since then, both the general haulage and milk distribution business have grown and the Company is at present, the largest independent milk haulier in the North West. Warehousing facilities were built in 1974 with a capacity of 13500 sq.ft. and have grown since then. At present S.J. Bargh operate a fleet of around 70 vehicles ranging from 2 tonne vans to 44 tonne general haulage vehicles. View other product and find out more about Corgi Classics.
