The majority of the Pollock fleet is made up of maximum capacity 44 tonne artics pulled by top of the range Scania, Volvo, DAF and Mercedes Benz tractor units. However, the Company has always operated a number of rigid vehicles to cater for the specific needs of some of its customers. The current rigid fleet is based at Dalmeny, close to the Forth Road Bridge, and is primarily engaged on the Pallex next-day pallet delivery service. The vehicles cover the whole of Scotland, from Dumfries in the south-west to Aberdeen and Inverness in the north. Makes operated include Volvo FM, MAN, Mercedes-Benz and this DAF CF 6 wheeler, registration number N66 PSL, fleet number 20. It carries the fleet name ‘Mons Meg’ and its tartan is, appropriately, Edinburgh Military Tattoo. View other product and find out more about Corgi Classics.
