Corgi Classics - Aviation Archive |
In 1990, the first range of World War II fighter aircraft was launched with a Spitfire, Hurricane, Mustang and Me109 in 1:72 scale. Since then the range has grown to become one of the biggest and most successful series of diecast aviation models in the world and the market leader in terms of quality and value for money. To commemorate this landmark range Corgi have chosen to re-model those first four 1:72 scale released including the Hurricane which is beautifully re-worked on a display plinth depicting the aircraft as it would have appeared on a second World War airfield and with a figure of the pilot’s notes which an aircraft of this type would have carried during the war.
