In early 1953, the Royal Netherlands Air Force decided to form an aerobatic display team with four Gloster Meteor Mk.8s. Known as "Ruiten Vier" (Diamonds Four), this was formed by No.327 Squadron at Soesterberg. This team performed shows throughout Europe just for the one year, 1953, before disbanding.
