This limited edition 1:72 scale model uses new tooling to recreate the Spitfire MkVIII flown by Australian pilot Robert Gibbes in 1944. Serving as Deputy Wing Leader to Clive 'Killer' Caldwell,Wing Commander Gibbes flew on dangerous ground attack missions against heavily defended targets in the Southwest Pacific until the end of the war.
