The Mini Cooper probably had about 80-90 bhp when it made its debut in the 1962 Monte Carlo rally. Piloted by Pat Moss who won the Ladies prize, 737 ABL was soon to become one of the most famous rally cars in the world, going on to win the Tulip and German rallies outright and then a third place position in the Geneva rally.
