Limited Edition. The Diplomatic Protection Group was formed in 1976 and the cars they used then and now are ordered in red so that the foreign diplomats they were assigned to protect could easily identify them from ordinary police cars. The Austin 1800 seen here was the very first DPG car and had the call sign 'Ranger 3'
