Foden Steam Wagon - Tate and Lyle. Limited Edition. This 1922 6-ton Foden Standard C Type steamer was orignallly supplied to the Star Brewery in Nottingham. In 1928 it was sold back to Messrs Foden who then resold it to a stone quarry company as an engine for a sawmill. Left idel in a field for 20 years, Tate and Lyle purchased the remains and restored the vehicle as a replica of the type of wagon used by Pease and Sons, carriers to Henry Tate in the 1920s. This vehicle is now stored at the Commericial Vehicle Motor Museum in Lancashire. View other product and find out more about Corgi Classics.
