Super Sentinel Steam Wagon with Creates - Tate and Lyle. Limited Edition. Built in Shrewsbury in 1925, the Super Sentinel wagon was operated until around 1940 by Pease & Sons, who were carriers for Henry Tate and Sons. It was capable of achieving speeds of up to 40mph but would require filling with water approximately every 35 miles. This surviving Sentinel, now painted in the Tate & Lyle Transport livery, was originally used by a Manchester transport company. The wagon is a familiar sight at steam fairs and show events throughout the country and is currently owned by Russell Cook. View other product and find out more about Corgi Classics.
