Corgi Classics |
The first Sentinel steam wagon was built by Alley and Maclellan of Glasgow in 1905. In 1923, a new model, the Super Sentinel was produced, with the DG (Double Geared) and S Models following later. Our model is of a 1931 Sentinel DG4 chain drive steamer from the fleet of Paul Bros, Birkenhead. This vehicle started life with S Banner of Liverpool, working on oil deliveries in the Merseyside area until she was sold to Paul Bros in 1936. She is now resplendent in the green livery of Morris and Co (Oils) Ltd of Shrewsbury. View other product and find out more about Corgi Classics.
