POV 22 - 1972 Morris Minor Postal Engineers Van - BOM4k was allocated to the Midland Postal Board at Nuneaton, Warwickshire. It was distinctive with "Post Office Engineering" lettered on its horizontal white stripe and also carried gold ciphers on each side. It still exists in private ownership. POV23 - 1970 Mirros Minor Royal Mail Van - Morris 50 cu.ft. mail vans were delivered to the Post Office from the mid 50s up to the last in 1971. DPB195J has been donated to the National Motor Museum - Beaulieu - Hants, and was allocated Fleet No. 273138 when it was based at Epsom, Surrey. The vehicle was restored by Post Office apprentices at Kidbrooke in 1978. The restored vehicle is 0043138 which followed the post 1974 practice of prefixing Minors with 004 and annexing the first two digits of the original Fleet number. POV 24 - 1963 Morris Minor PO Telephones Van - The popular Morris Minor Van was used by PO Telephones between 1953 and 1972 when over 27,000 were purchased as utility vehicles. POV24 represents one of the later versions, dating from August 1963 with a one-piece windscreen. Earlier models had divided windscreens. 98GPO was based at Bristol.
