Bedford O Artic Dropside - H.E. Musgrove & Sons. Limited Edition of 2000 (Corgi Classics Premium Edition). A little bit of old Stamford died when H.E. Musgrove ceased trading in 1989. For 77 years, this well known Stamford family had been road haulage pioneers - their two-tone green lorries, each with its own name, a familiar sight around the area. The company, based at Castle Dyke, was established in 1912 and began by moving stone by horse and cart from Collyweston to Wittering aerodrome, During the 1950s the Musgrove began moving coal, as well as being heavily involved with the cement works at Ketton, using specially liveried cream and red ERF tippers.
