Corgi Classics - Original Omnibus Company |
The first buses arrived on Malta in 1904 and by the 1930s many small bus operating groups had formed. After the Second World War new bus chassis were purchased from the UK, with Bedford being the prefered make. Many of these vehicles sport elaborate lining out or are embellished with highly polished radiators and badges. Although many of these older vehicles have now been replaced, there is still much of interest to be seen on the roads of Malta.
