Corgi Classics - Original Omnibus Company |
The Regency period in Brighton produced some beautiful building, inlcuding The Royal Pavilion, which greeted one upon arrival in the town centre. From 1939 until 1961 the scene was further enhanced by the quiet efficiency of the trolleybuses, proceeding about their business and to assist them there was need for service vehicles. The tower wagon, needed to reach the overhead, would on ocassion be seen assisting with the task to ensure the smooth running of a normal service. Doubtless large numbers of regular passengers failed to notice the tower wagon, little realising the need for just a support truck.
