Abnormal Load Engineering (A.L.E.) was set up in 1986 and has its headquarters in Stafford, with offices in Abu Dhabi and Bombay. The company moved a large number of pressure vessels knwn as 'slug catchers' from Immingham to the Natural Gas Terminal at Theddlethorpe in Lincolnshire.
