Blue Circle is the largest and oldest established cement company in the UK, its origins dating back to the mid nineteenth century. It was formed by an amalgamation of many smaller cement companies and the formation of a central selling organisation called The Cement Marketing Company by whom the Blue Circle symbol was adopted as a corporate trade mark in the 20s. In the late 50s The Cement Marketing Company's fleet, numbering more than a thousand vehicles, included large numbers of Foden eight wheeled bulkers. While bulk tankers were entering the scene, a small number of Foden S21 dual purpose tipping lorries went into service including TYO 294. View other product and find out more about Corgi Classics.
