Corgi Classics - Aviation Archive |
Boeing B-29 production totalled 3,970 across four plants in the US. The Renton plant produced only the B-29A variant and continued until May 1946 when production had totalled 1,122. Eight-seven (or 88 as some records say) were taken from storage there in February 1950 and flown to England where they were designated Washington B.I's by the RAF. These were received on loan for a period of 5 years and our model is of KD-F of the No.115 squadron. View other product and find out more about Corgi Classics and Aircraft.
