RAF Dakota KK128, YS-U, was an aircraft of No. 77 Squadron based at Manston in Kent when the airlift began. In November 1948 the Squadron Dakotas joined a huge pool of transports operating out of Luebeck. The Squadron was disbanded after the airlift on 1 June 1949.
