BOAC took delivery of G-AOVH on 28th March 1958 at London (Heathrow) Airport and it entered service on 17 April 1958 as BA 565/3. During service with BOAC, this aircraft inaugurated their service to Detroit, USA. British Eagle International Airlines leased G-AOVH on 6th November 1964 at which time she was painted in their livery with the name 'Crusader' on her nose section. Monarch Airlines purchased G-AOVH on 1st April 1968 and operated her out of Luton Airport for nearly four years before being broken up and scrapped in June 1972.
