The models in this set are a P47D of the 56th Fighter Group, based at Boxted and flown by US fighter ace Col. David Schilling, and a P51D of the 357th FG. Known as 'Old Crow' this aircraft was piloted by another ace, Captain Clarence 'Bud' Anderson.
