Corgi Classics - Aviation Archive |
The Avro York was a clever adaption of the Lancaster Bomber, retaining four Rolls-Royce Merlin engines but having a much enlarged fuselage. Thirty of them operated scheduled passenger services with BOAC from 1944 until 7 October 1950. Corgi's model G-AGJC "Malmesbury" is shown in its final colour scheme before being withdrawn from service in December 1957. Every aircraft and livery in the Corgi Aviation Archive is meticulously researched and authenticated in conjunction with manufacturers, airline operators and air forces, using original plans and rare archive material to bring you the finest range of names in die-cast.
