The Douglas DC-3 was developed into the C-47 of the USAAF, and served as the Dakota with the RAF. Corgi's model G-AMFV was a C-47A which acquired by BEA in December 1950 and converted into the corporation's Pioneer class with integral stairs for two crew operation.
